Advancing A Sustainable Wood-Based Circular Bioeconomy in Europe: Wood Policy Paper Now Available in Czech

We’re pleased to share that the Wood Policy Paper, “A Wood-Based Circular Bioeconomy For A Sustainable Europe: Green Construction and Innovative Wood Solutions”, endorsed on 6 November 2025 during the Third High Level Meeting, is now available in Czech.

This Wood Policy Paper represents the collective commitment to an economically valuable, ecologically sensitive and socially responsible timber industry, reinforcing the position of the wood-based sector as a crucial element in mitigating climate change and supporting a clean, just, and competitive transformation of Europe.

With this translation, WoodPoP – the European Wood Policy Platform – is ensuring that the messages enshrined in this policy paper resonate across Europe’s diverse linguistic and policy landscapes, strengthening the potential for regional engagement and fostering dialogue on how timber can play a crucial role in driving Europe’s green transition.

We thank the Ministry of Agriculture of the Czech Republic and the Czech Forestry Institute for translating this Policy Paper. We invite all interested stakeholders to explore the Czech version of the Policy Paper and join us in strengthening the role of wood in Europe’s vision of a circular bioeconomy.
