The WoodPoP Dara Award 2026 Trophy: A Winning Design Selected

Following a vote by the WoodPoP Dara Award Steering Group and the members of the TWG Information and Communication, held from 4 March to 18 March 2026, the winning design for the inaugural WoodPoP Dara Award trophy has been announced.

The winning design is by Julie Kratěnová, a student at the Faculty of Architecture of the Czech Technical University in Prague. Her design draws inspiration from the Celtic Dara knot, evoking a wooden structure of two elements joined by a single connection. A glass element bearing the award’s name pays tribute to the Czech glassmaking tradition. The trophy will be made from oak wood

Diana Brablcová's trophy design garnered the second highest votes
Martin Štol's trophy design garnered third place during the voting

WoodPoP congratulates Julie Kratěnová on her winning design and thanks all the students who contributed their creativity to this process.

The winning trophy design will be awarded at the inaugural WoodPoP Dara Award ceremony, taking place on 26 November 2026 in Prague, alongside the 5th High Level Meeting.
