Dara Award 2026: Submission Deadline Extended to 22 April

Dara Award 2026: Submission Deadline Extended to 22 April

Additional Time Granted to Support Nominees and Countries Finalising Nominations

The WoodPoP Secretariat is pleased to announce that the submission deadline for the inaugural WoodPoP Dara Award has been extended to 22 April 2026, 12:00 CEST.

This decision reflects the WoodPoP Dara Award’s commitment to inclusivity and its collaborative spirit. The extension has been granted for two reasons: to allow nominees additional time to complete and finalise their applications on the Evalato platform, and to give countries that are still in the process of finalising their nominations the opportunity to come on board.

A Reminder on Eligibility: National Focal Point Nomination is Required

As the extended deadline approaches, the WoodPoP Dara Award Steering Group wishes to reaffirm a key eligibility requirement: all projects submitted to the WoodPoP Dara Award must carry the official nomination of a WoodPoP Dara Award National Focal Point. Applications submitted without this nomination will not be considered, regardless of the quality or merit of the project.

National Focal Points play a central role in the Dara Award process. They are responsible for identifying and nominating exemplary timber construction projects within their country, and for ensuring that the relevant project teams complete and submit their applications through the Evalato platform.

How to Submit

Project submissions are managed through the Evalato platform. The Registration and Application Guide is available on the WoodPoP Dara Award webpage (https://woodpop.eu/woodpop-dara-award/) for reference. The WoodPoP Secretariat remains available to support nominees and National Focal Points throughout the submission process.
