Veronika Juch

Following her graduation with a Diploma from the University of Vienna in Political Science and a Masters Degree in Affaires Européennes from Sciences Po Paris in 2014, Veronika has worked in different European countries in public administration including the Austrian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Secrétariat general des affaires européennes and the European Parliament. 

During her work at the Liaison office of the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) and the FAO Forestry Division until 2023, Veronika built a solid understanding of European and international forestry policies. 

Before joining IUFRO, Veronika was working at the Austrian Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry, Regions and Water Management focusing on European wood policy cooperation.

Veronika coordinates the Secretariat of the European Wood Policy Platform.
