About Me
With a bachelor’s degree in Forestry specializing in Social Forestry and Forest Governance from the University of the Philippines Los Baños, she has expanded her expertise through ongoing studies under the EU-funded Erasmus Mundus Joint Master’s program, MSc European Forestry at the University of Eastern Finland and the University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences (BOKU) Vienna.
Having contributed to projects focused on sustainable land management and natural resource governance for the past four years, Care recognizes the importance of exchanging best practices, expertise, and coordination among administration, industry, and research.
Driven by a commitment to sustainability, Care is eager to contribute to addressing complex challenges in forestry and bioeconomy.
Jacklyn Care Linayao joined the woodPoP Secretariat as the junior policy officer and project administrator of woodPoP in April 2024. With a solid foundation in research and a desire to make a difference, Care looks forward to contributing to the goals of woodPoP and promoting the sustainable use of wood resources.
