Advancing A Sustainable Wood-Based Circular Bioeconomy in Europe: Wood Policy Paper Now Available in German

We are pleased to announce that the Wood Policy Paper, “A Wood-Based Circular Bioeconomy For A Sustainable Europe: Green Construction and Innovative Wood Solutions”, is now available in German. Originally endorsed on 6 November 2024 at the Third High Level Meeting, the Policy Paper presents a unifying vision for sustainable wood policy at the Pan-European level.

WoodPoP – the European Wood Policy Platform – works to ensure that its outputs are inclusive and accessible, ensuring they resonate across Europe’s diverse linguistic and policy landscapes. Translating this paper into German not only supports broader understanding but also strengthens regional engagement and fosters dialogue on how the renewable resource wood can be a leading force in driving the green transition.

We express our gratitude to the Austrian Federal Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry, Climate and Environmental Protection, Regions and Water Management, the German Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Regional Identity, and the Swiss Federal Office for the Environment for translating the Policy Paper into German.

We invite all interested public and private stakeholders to explore the German version of the Policy Paper and join us in our commitment to strengthening the role of the renewable resource wood in mitigating climate change and supporting a clean, just, and competitive European transformation.
