Rome, Italy – The high-level dialogue “WOOD for GLOBE: Leading pathways to carbon neutrality and resilience” which took place on 19 July 2024 at FAO Headquarters in Rome, Italy, reviewed progress on sustainable wood pathways from the 2022 Ministerial Call on Sustainable Wood, exploring emerging partnerships and needs for Agenda 2030 and the Paris Agreement. The session renewed and invited commitments to support environmentally-friendly, carbon-neutral economies.

Throughout the high-level dialogue, participants called to scale up sustainable wood pathways & join efforts to accelerate the adoption of wood-based solutions.
