We are pleased to announce that the Wood Policy Paper, “A Wood-Based Circular Bioeconomy For A Sustainable Europe: Green Construction and Innovative Wood Solutions”, endorsed on 6 November 2024, is now accessible to Slovenian-speaking audiences.
The European Wood Policy Platform (WoodPoP) brings together a diverse range of public and private stakeholders along the wood-based value chain. This includes policymakers, industry experts, scientists, and researchers, all collaborating to foster a common understanding of a sustainable wood policy in Europe. This Wood Policy Paper represents a collective commitment to an economically valuable, ecologically sensitive, and socially responsible timber industry, reinforcing the position of the wood-based sector as a crucial element to mitigate climate change and support a clean, just and competitive transformation of Europe.
We thank the Slovenian Ministry of the Economy, Tourism and Sport as well as InnoRenew CoE for translating the Policy Paper into Slovenian, making it accessible to a wider audience.
We invite all interested public and private actors to access the Slovenian version of the Policy Paper and join us in our commitment to strengthen the role of wood to mitigate climate change and support a clean, just and competitive transition of Europe.
